Eme in a nutshell!

Eme has been doing big girl things every time we turn around! I can't believe how fast these little babies learn new things. She is such a good girl, and always smiling! Here is what Eme has been up to in the last few weeks.....

Napping with daddy...
Watching Baby Einsteins so mommy can get ready for work...
Playing with her laptop...
Drinking from a straw...
Riding on Grandma Sal's horse.....
Standing up in my crib and crying down the hall when I wake up in the morning...

and walking around with my stroller...!

Let there be light!

Well if you haven't been to my new house yet, you wouldn't know that we had no lighting in our front room. Well, we didn't, so we had our handy dandy electrician daddy Evan, his side kick Brock and training Brady, help us out! If you don't know my dad, then you wouldn't know that OK lighting isn't good enough, you must have ADEQUATE lighting with different switching options. So here is what the beginnings of our first "remodel" project looks like in the house.....

First you measure it out....


..then you cut the holes....


....wire the lights....


...and finally, VIOLA!....LIGHT!
