Just a little info

I just wanted to post an update on little Em's. She had her one year check up and is growing like a champ! She is now 18lbs 7oz (with a lot of help from her birthday cake!) and 29inches long. She is such a big girl! I have a bunch of pictures from her birthday, but they are on my moms camera so hopefully I can get them off by the end of this week.
We are going crazy again at our house after a week off. The start of the kitchen remodel is in process and the guys are coming today to move the window so we can get started!! I am super excited about how it's going to turn out I can hardly stand it. Wish us luck!
Glendale Middle Schools multi cultural is as crazy as it was last year, but the kids are doing awesome. We have a full dress rehersal today, and tomorrow is the performances. Can't wait for that to be over!
Brady is nearing the end of this semester of school. His Monday and Wednesday classes are out so it's nice to have him at home a little more often. He has done an awesome job and we are proud of him for being so dedicated to his family!
We are waiting for everyone to have their babies anytime now. Jenny, Catie, Laura, Heather, and sooner or later... Andi! I LOVE meeting new babies especially if I am not the one that has to lose the sleep! lol Good luck to all you women and keep us posted!

Happy 1st Birthday Munchkin!

Today at 7:32am, our little Eme turned one! Crazy to think that it was a whole year ago today that she chose our house to come to. She is usually asleep when I take her to my dad's house in the morning, but since it was her birthday and she was sending the day with her Aunt Tina, she decided to get up and celebrate! She must have known it was a big day. Unfortunately, her mom and dad had to work today, so we get to celebrate tonight by going and seeing the new Fast and Furious movie! (that's because she knew how bad her daddy wanted to see it. Is'nt she nice?!)
Anyway, I just want our little girl to know she is such a blessing in our home. We would be lost without her. She has gotten so big in this last year it amazes me. Lately she has been standing for minutes on end with out any help, and clapping for herself. It's only a matter of time till she takes off walking on her own. Scary!!

She LOVES LOVES LOVES the bath. I will ask her if she wants to take a bath and she will look at the bathroom and crawl as fast as she can to the tub. So we start the water and take her to her room to get her undressed and take off her diaper. The second I get her out of her skibbies, she will crawl like mad back to the bathroom to stand at the tub and scream until I put her in it. Cutest thing ever! She has a way of melting my heart a hundred times a day, it's crazy.

If you know Eme, you know that Em's is a BIG EATER! Pretty sure she can out eat anybody. If you have, it she wants it! Her current favorite thing is go-gurts. She will take the first bite and say mmmm.... Then if you ask her if she loves it she will nod yes and lean in for more. The second it is gone, she will throw her hands up in the air telling us it is all gone and as soon as I throw the wrapper in the garbage, she will SCREAM because it is gone! Hilarious.

Another favorite is opening and closing drawers and doors! She could seriously do this for hours, and does! Even though she smashes her fingers time and time again, she always comes back for more. Her favorite door is the refrigerator. If you wanna see the girl crawl fast, you open the refrigerator door! She doesn't really want to get into it, she just wants to close it. It's an obsession, I know! :)

Can you say Aries??? This girl is the definition of Aries at age one. She has got enough attitude to turn her mamma gray! Yesterday, for instance, we were outside with the contractor lookin at our kitchen window when a glimpse of the future slapped me in the face! It was colder then I wanted it to be in April so I wrapped her up in a blanket and put on her little hat. When we got outside she tried to pull off her hat. I looked her in the eye, and said "Don't pull off your hat." She looked me back in the eye, and said "HM!" and lifted her arm up to pull it again. I grabbed her arm and put it to her side and told her that is she touched it again she would have to go inside. So she looked me square in the eye and pulled out her binki and GRINDED HER TEETH!!! Can you believe it?!?!? She KNOWS that she gets in big trouble for that and that was the only way she could tell me how mad she was at me! LOL I am is soooo much trouble with her. Lucky her, the contractor was standing right there so she didn't get a swat in the mouth. Call me a mean mom, but she has already chipped 2 of her teeth and I can guarentee that it's from the grinding! Just a small example of what I am in for! :)

I just want to say that through it all, she is still our little Angel!

WE LOVE YOU LITTLE EM'S!!
HAPPY 1ST BIRTHDAY
