Today I took Eme to get her 2 week check up. We are seeing Dr. Terishima in West Jordan, and for those of you who don't know him very well, let me update you on this wonderful Dr. He has been in practice for over 32 years and I think has had only 1 relocation in that time. He has been in West Jordan for as long as I can remember. All my siblings went to him when we were younger and I decided I would take Eme there as well. So, when I walked into the office today I had to try so hard not to laugh! The office is EXACTLY what I remember. He STILL has the 10 gallon fish tank on the right and a little table of maybe 4 toys! lol He is such a great Dr., but has no intention of dolling up his office, or "keeping up with Jones' " if you will. He has far higher priorities of going to all the "informational" classes and updating his knowledge! Some of the nurses around know him as "Yoda". He is so wonderful and I am so glad that he accepted Eme as a new patient. Anyway, the update on Eme. It seems like every day I look at her and can't believe how much she changes! She has these chubby little cheeks, long fingers and toes, and just growing everywhere. She started out at 6lbs. 13oz. and has gained to a whopping 7lbs. 4oz. You go girl! She has grown almost an inch and loves to lift her head up. She always looks at me when I have her laying on my chest, and if I am lucky, I can get a cute little smile out of her. I love being a mom and am so blessed to have such a beautiful daughter!

Yeah!! First to comment. She is growing up too fast. I can't believe that it has already been two weeks. Sorry we are missing the blessing, but hopefully we will be up soon to see beautiful, little Eme! She is a doll!
I don't know...I think she's looking a little like Brady! She's still such a little peanut. She's adorable. Isn't being a Mom great?! I'm all about dinner...when finals are over I'll give you a call.

I am so excited to hold her! I can hardly stand it :) She's got such a sweet little face--although I'm with your friend, Amy, I think she's got a lot of her daddy in her! Can't wait--less than 48 hours now! :) Give her a kiss for me and tell her I'm on my way with a special gift for her from me!
My goodness, she is gorgeous! My sister Angie says she is the most beautiful baby she has ever seen (I should be offended since I have 2 that she has seen prior to yours, oh well, I agree)
Anyhoo, about good old Dr. T as we call him. He is my fave and Tina and i were just laughing on the phone today about his not so exciting office and how it is the same as when we were kids. I think it is borderline hysterical that in a desperate, half-hearted attempt to doll the place up he hangs a paper cut out of a fish from a string in the ceiling. So funny. I always make sure to take my own things to entertain my kids. He is awesome and like they say at Primary Childrens, "He's the master jedi" (did i spell that right? Im no star wars fan)

Glad things are continuing to go so well, she looks sooooo peaceful! I can't wait to meet her this weekend, YEAH!
Hello.....when is the blessing? I also would like to say that yes, it is very hard to keep up such a huge backyard and yes, i did slave for hours over the picnic food. Geez, lay off already:)
She is so beautiful! It was so good to get to see you all again! I wish we could have stayed a day longer and been their for her blessing...I know it has been a special day for you all. Enjoy this special little girl of yours. I'm glad we got to meet her while we were there!

Oh Mahins, so sorry I couldn't come on Sunday. I am so sad I also missed out on the party. I will spare you the details but I was so sick on Saturday and even into Sunday. I would have loved to be there. I totally want to see pictures. Post something.
Now, lets hang out since we both stay home. I have a lovely back yard, big enough for an army. Come on over and lets have a picnic or something.
