Tina's Party 2010

As many of you know, my sister Tina knows how to throw a party! It doesn't matter who it's for, she is all about it.

Well, it just so happens that this party was for her own self! She decided this year she wanted a spa party. REALLY?? That is SO FUN! I couldn't wait to see how this was going to turn out! I know it was going to be awesome, but I didn't know it was going to be THAT awesome!

This year for her party we turned her house into a spa. We covered all the windows with dark butcher paper to keep as much of the light out as possible. Then we stuck windows in the window seals and turned down all the lights. It seriously turned out AMAZING!

Then we all got in our party get-up to relax the night away! Some of us chose our bath robes, and some, just our jammie attire. Either way, we were so ready to get pampered.

We brought in a massage threapist who was able to do FIVE one hour massages. If you know me, I was the FIRST one to sign up for one of those!! I didn't get my massage till the 4th person in, but it was worth the wait!

Meanwhile, we all sat around the house, ate, chatted, and read trash magazines! Does it get any better than that?? It was awesome! We talked about family, friends, food, celeberties, work, spouses, kids... you name it, we talked about that, too!

We also had a nail lady come and do mani's and pedi's (mostly pedi's). She was awesome and loved being there with us. Mainly, I think she was scared/amused about all the stuff we were talking about all night! hahaha.. You never know where the conversation is going to go when we all get together!

In the other room, we read more magazines, talked some more, and found out A LOT of stuff about eachother I'm not sure we asked for! I LOVE THESE GIRLS!

If you have ever been to a spa, you know you have to stay hydrated! Especially after a massage, to keep the toxins flowing towards exiting the body. Nothing better than having a choice between lime, lemon, or cucumber H20!

and for the stresses of life.. DESSERT! We had SO much food there, we could have partied all weekend long!!

Thank you Tina for being the party animal you are and have always been. I LOVE YOU! You are an amazing sister, and example. I hope you know we appreciate everything you do for our family and look up to you so much. You are the best!!
