This is the first year I decided to celebrate with the kids. I know, I know. Some call it lazy, but I call it pure genius! Dax and Eme have birthdays in the same 30 days, so they do celebrate for that. :) I mean, if you think about it, you'll be doing holidays for the rest of your life!! Just thinking about it makes me tired, so I decided I would start when they could remember it, and enjoy it.
This year we went to the Wheeler Farm egg hunt because my co-worker bought a ticket for her daughter, but couldn't make it. So, I decided to take the kids out, even in the icky weather. Dax ended up getting sick, so Brady stayed home with him, while I ran Line to the hunt!
I was happy that Line got right in there and started hunting her six eggs. Yes, I said six. You found six empty eggs, and then returned them to the office where the Easter Bunny was to claim you sack of goodies! I like the idea, and it worked out really well. EVEN the Easter Bunny appearance. If you know my daughter, you know she freaks out about things like that. She hates fake ANYTHING. Dogs, people, animals, masks whatever. She just can't figure them out!
All in all I have to say I am glad I took her out this year. She had so much fun finding her eggs!
